Smart Vent

 

    Our job was to design a device that regulates de air inside a room, constantly monitoring its humidity, smog level, temperature, etc… and adjust it as necessary, to maintain the user comfortable.

     We designed the outer shell and dome, both of which would contain the PCBs which would monitor the state of the room, and the latter of which would be the only visible piece from the room. Thus we made it in a way that would ease its access (so the user could easily turn it on and off, as well as perform maintenance), while keeping its simple design as to avoid clashing with the user’s furniture.
